What You Can ExpectAs our Business Development Manager you will be responsible for driving sales of ENGIEs retail energy products to Commercial and Industrial C&I customers. In this role you will focus on meeting key performance indicators while ensuring compliance with ENGIEs policies processes and governance standards. This position may be based remotely in PA and reports directly to the Sales Director PJM MidAtlantic Region.Prospect and acquire new C&I customers within the PJM IL OH PA NJ DE & MD region through networking cold calling social media and other means to build a robust pipeline of opportunities.Establish strong direct and indirect relationships to acquire and retain a book of business meeting andor exceeding goals.Develop sales plans and strategies to increase regional third-party business and coordinate these efforts with other regional managers to maximize business throughout the territories we serve.Use market knowledge and competitor analysis to identify and develop the companys unique selling propositions and differentiators.Assess customer needs and propose offerings to meet andor exceed these needs.Analyze supply proposals to ensure an apples-to-apples comparison by understanding the regional market competitors energy components and product offerings.Coordinate and manage various internal processes and resources to close transactions Legal Credit Supply Business Controls and Operations.Collaborate with Key Account team members on transactions involving key customers to improve success odds.What Youll BringYou hold a Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Sales or a related discipline where you gained a foundational understanding of business operations customer engagement strategies market analysis and sales principles. Alternatively we will consider candidates with at least ten 10 years of relevant professional working experience in business development sales or account managementYou have a minimum of seven 7 years of sales experience within the retail energy industry with a proven ability to build client relationships and meet or exceed sales targetsYou possess strong negotiation skills allowing you to secure favorable outcomes in high-stakes discussionsYou are a self-driven individual capable of quickly learning new products processes and systems adapting to changing environments with easeYou are proficient in interacting with executive-level decision-makers confidently presenting and discussing strategic initiativesYou have the ability to thrive in fast-paced settings consistently delivering results under pressureAdditional DetailsThis role is eligible for our hybrid work policyMust be available to travel domestically up to 10 of the time and with the need for some overnight tripsMust be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policiesCompensationSalary Range 102000 - 156400 USD annuallyThis represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.Actual offered salary may depend on geography experience industry knowledge education internal pay alignment or other bona fide factors.ENGIE complies with all federal state and local minimum wage laws.
