We are seeking a dynamic, high-energy Sales Manager & Trainer to lead, mentor, and elevate our client’s financial services sales team. Located in Melville, NY, this dual-impact role requires an experienced leader who can split their focus between active pipeline management and structured revenue enablement. You will be responsible for onboarding entry-level advisors/reps, running continuous professional development programs, and driving the team to hit aggressive monthly and quarterly production goals.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Training & Revenue Enablement
  • Design, implement, and manage a structured "First 90 Days" onboarding curriculum for incoming sales representatives and financial advisors.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on foundational industry mechanics, advanced prospecting, cold-calling, script mastery, and navigating complex financial product portfolios.
  • Run interactive "training games," live role-play scenarios, and objection-handling workshops to build confidence and muscle memory in junior staff.
  • Ensure all sales scripts, positioning, and pitches strictly align with industry regulatory standards (e.g., FINRA, SEC, or relevant state compliance guidelines).

2. Performance Management & Coaching
  • Monitor day-to-day sales activity metrics (dials, connects, meetings booked) within the CRM to ensure healthy pipeline velocity.
  • Conduct "ride-alongs" and live call monitoring, providing real-time feedback, post-call debriefs, and actionable performance improvement plans.
  • Analyze individual and team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify skill gaps and customize training interventions accordingly.
  • Maintain a high-accountability, high-reward environment that motivates competitive professionals to exceed quota.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience within the financial services, insurance, or wealth management sectors, with at least 2+ years in a dedicated management, team lead, or sales trainer capacity.
  • Deep familiarity with financial products, market terminology, and compliance environments.
  • Hands-on experience managing and auditing pipelines within corporate CRMs (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and utilizing modern sales engagement platforms.
  • Exceptional public speaking, presentation, and curriculum-building skills. Ability to break down complex financial concepts into highly digestible sales talking points.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
