Technical Sales Representative

Valley View, OH – Onsite/Hybrid (North America Territory)
Compensation:
Competitive Base + Commission (DOE)

Sales & Business Development
Manage and grow relationships with existing customers while targeting users of competitive products
Identify new business opportunities and develop a strong pipeline across untapped markets
Drive full sales cycle from prospecting through closing
Technical Sales & Customer Support
Perform machining and process measurements to support customer applications
Provide technical guidance on product placement and system performance
Translate technical capabilities into customer-focused solutions
Account Management & Market Strategy
Maintain sales volume, product mix, and pricing strategy based on market trends and competitive activity
Manage customer accounts and ensure long-term relationship success
Respond proactively to customer needs and deliver high levels of satisfaction
CRM & Reporting
Maintain accurate customer, pipeline, and order data within CRM systems
Track and manage opportunities through all sales stages
Collaboration & Industry Engagement
Work cross-functionally with Service, Administration, and international teams
Participate in trade shows, industry events, and company training programs
3+ years of sales experience within the Metals industry
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and margin targets
Strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills
Experience managing customer relationships and sales pipelines within a CRM
Ability to sell across multiple decision-making levels
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience with cold-rolling, galvanizing, and finishing processes
Experience working within an international manufacturing and sales environment
Familiarity with CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics
Strong technical aptitude within metals processing or industrial equipment
Base Salary: $85,000-$95,000
On-Target Earnings (OTE) / Bonus Structure: Uncapped Commission
