Position Summary
The Sales/Marketing Administrator is a strategic role designed to manage corporate sales pipelines, enforce data governance, and oversee event operations. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, this role exercises independent discretion to optimize sales team efficiency, execute marketing initiatives, and drive revenue growth. This performance-driven role offers a competitive base salary plus an opportunity to earn a 2% quarterly commission tied directly to regional sales performance and closed pre-planning seminar leads.
 
Compensation & Classification Data
  • Exempt Status: Full-Time / Exempt
  • Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 base salary + 2% quarterly commission incentive plan.
  • Pipeline Governance: Oversees the data integrity and tracking lifecycle of all Seminar Leads (contacts who registered for and attended a pre-need seminar within 90 days of an event).
  • Operational Oversight: Standardizes and audits the communication frameworks, appointment-setting logistics, and CRM workflows utilized by Family Service Representative (FSRs) to ensure optimal conversion efficiency.
Travel
  • Ability to travel to different CCA cemeteries throughout Northeast Ohio daily, as needed.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Formulate, implement, and enforce data entry policies and pipeline management protocols within the CRM to ensure data integrity across the sales division.
  2. Audit CRM usage across the sales team and implement corrective actions to maintain data integrity.
  3. Collaborate with IT Management in evaluating CRM software performance and recommend system upgrades or migrations.
  4. Design and execute the post-seminar lead nurturing strategy; analyze attendee data to independently modify follow-up campaigns and maximize conversion rates.
  5. Develop and direct long-term sales lead generation strategies aligned with corporate growth objectives.
  6. Compile and analyze weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales trends, delivering strategic data insights and reporting directly to the senior management team.
  7. Establish, track, and monitor key attendance and engagement metrics to evaluate the return on investment (ROI) of public events.
  8. Oversee the master seminar schedule and authorize venue selections based on corporate budget allocations and target market demographics.
  9. Partner with the Marketing department to design and execute strategic marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to increase seminar attendance.
  10. Direct the operational pipeline between the Sales and Memorialization departments to optimize order fulfillment.
  11. Collaborate strategically with the Marketing department to align corporate branding, approve sales enablement materials, and co-design regional outreach campaigns.
What You Will Need to Succeed (Education & Qualifications):
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales Operations, or a related field from an accredited university.
  • Equivalent Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of progressive, high-level experience in Sales Operations, CRM Systems Management, or Revenue Strategy may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Professional Experience: 3–5 years of progressive experience in corporate sales operations, pipeline management, or administrative leadership.

  • Exceptional stakeholder communication and consultative customer service skills.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication capabilities suitable for executive-level reporting.
  • Deep strategic understanding of the industry, customer lifecycle needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Advanced technical expertise in administering enterprise CRM tools.
  • Proven ability to manage multi-faceted operational projects and strategic timelines simultaneously.
Physical Demands:
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping.
  • Ability to work in outdoor elements across cemetery grounds as needed.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
  • Close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust visual focus.
Work Environment:
  • Hybrid office structure with the requirement to travel locally to all regional CCA locations.
  • Location: 10000 Miles Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44105
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8:30 am  - 4:30 pm, Saturday's when needed
  • Potential exposure to variable outside weather conditions during onsite visits.
