This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys connecting with people and the local community, and is passionate about sales/marketing. You'll be involved in everything from answering client inquiries and following up on leads, to preparing materials that showcase our work and creating engaging social media content. This is primarily a WFO (work from office) role, but could have some flexibility to WFH at select times in slower seasons.ResponsibilitiesSales SupportMake outbound calls to follow up on leads, schedule site visits and book discovery calls for the team.Prepare client-facing materials, organize lead information, and track follow-ups using a CRM.Quote simple projects using provided quoting tools.Coordinate with senior team members for more complex estimates or technical questions.Customer ServiceAnswer incoming calls as needed from prospective and current clients in a friendly, professional manner.Respond to email inquiries promptly and ensure excellent communication is maintained throughout the customer journey.Social Media ManagementDefine content goals for each platform (e.g., lead generation, education, engagement).Create and schedule engaging, on-brand content to maintain visibility and grow followers.Monitor interactions and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely, professional voice.Email Marketing & NewslettersWrite and manage email campaigns featuring company updates, project spotlights, and promotions.Maintain and segment email lists to enhance personalization and increase open and click-through rates.Content Creation & StrategyWrite blog posts, project features, and industry-related articles to boost website traffic.Capture and edit photos/videos of completed projects for use across marketing platforms.Ensure all content aligns with Deck Teck's brand image.Analytics & ReportingTrack performance metrics such as social media engagement, website traffic, and lead volume.Use insights to optimize content strategies and improve campaign effectiveness.RequirementsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Comfortable speaking with clients on the phone and via email.Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks independently.Familiarity with social media platforms, especially Facebook and Instagram.Basic knowledge of email marketing tools and campaign planning.Self-motivated and eager to learn — you don't need to know everything, but you're excited to figure it out.Experience or interest in construction, home improvement, or outdoor living.Preferred SkillsGraphic design experience (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite).Knowledge and experience with AI tools (Chat GPT etc.)Basic Photography or videography skills for content creation.What We OfferCompetitive payMedical benefits401(k) with 4% company matchPaid HolidaysGrowth opportunities in sales and marketingOngoing support and professional development in a collaborative, locally owned businessIf you are passionate about sales/marketing we invite you to apply today and become a key player at Deck Teck!Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingHealth insurancePaid time offSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayAbility to Commute:Lyman, ME 04002 (Required)Work Location: In person#J-18808-Ljbffr
