The Sales and Marketing Manager is accountable for driving company revenue through ownership of Sales and leadership of Marketing while actively performing as a working Sales Manager. Using EOS principles, this role Leads, Manages, and Holds Accountable a growing team; builds strong market presence and brand credibility; and partners closely with Operations to ensure seamless delivery of the company's core product—people.Lead, Manage, and Hold Accountable the Sales function and Marketing resources.Own total revenue results from new and existing clients.Build and execute effective sales and marketing strategies that support growth.Ensure accurate forecasting, pipeline health, and capacity alignment with Operations.Strengthen brand presence through strategic networking, outreach, and market engagement.Duties and ResponsibilitiesServe on Leadership Team to develop and execute a strategic plan for the sales and marketing departments.Lead, manage, and develop existing teams of Direct Reports: Sales and Marketing.Coach, develop, and manage performance of team members in alignment with EOS tools to include setting expectations, metrics, and accountability.Actively sell in an outside sales environment across B2B markets in conjunction with the sales team.Ensure sales team maintains consistent contact with all accounts within their territory.Hold sales team accountable for meeting established levels of sales and profitability with new and existing clients while maintaining accurate, up‑to‑date records.Ensure sales team researches prospects and develops a perpetual pipeline of qualified opportunities.Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activity; respond in ways favorable to the company and keep leadership informed.Assist in the development and implementation of new sales processes, policies, and procedures.Provide hands‑on leadership in existing and developing marketing efforts.Maintain final accountability for marketing strategy and execution.Manage external vendors and agencies and coordinate with outside marketing resources.Support and evolve marketing channels, including digital outreach, events, strategic partnerships, and employer brand initiatives as defined.Maintain an active and effective social media presence across all key platforms.Ensure consistent brand messaging and professional representation in all marketing activities, including social media management.Create content that supports sales, recruiting, community engagement, and company branding.Liaison to OperationsPartner closely with the Operations Team Lead to ensure Sales and Operations work hand‑in‑hand.Ensure seamless engagement of clients between Sales and Operations.Collaborate to improve forecasting of client needs to align available workforce pools with jobs.Align sales commitments with operational capability, recognizing that the company's product is people.Professional EngagementMaintain membership and active participation in professional associations relevant to the business.Travel regularly throughout South Carolina.Perform other duties as assigned in support of company growth and EOS objectives.QualificationsBachelor's degree with at least 3 years of experience in Sales leadership and Marketing exposure, or 7+ years of equivalent experience in Sales leadership and Marketing without a degree.Proven success carrying personal and team quotas in an outside sales environment.Strong working knowledge of both Sales and Marketing disciplines.Experience leading and developing teams.Industry experience in staffing or employment services is helpful but not required.EOS familiarity is helpful but not required.Strong customer relationship management proficiency and comfort with sales metrics and reporting.Excellent oral and written communication skills.A valid driver's license is required, and only the most minor violations are acceptable.Working conditionsThis role operates in an office and field‑based environment and requires regular client visits (some may not be climate controlled), networking events, and some travel.
