Sales & Marketing Manager – OEM Petrochemical Market
Location: Erie, PA (Remote Eligible)
Type: Direct Hire | Salary: $150K–$250K DOE

Position Overview
The Sales & Marketing Manager will lead the company's commercial strategy for an OEM serving the petrochemical, refining, chemical processing, and industrial markets. This executive-level role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, managing key customer relationships, and leading sales, marketing, business development, and channel strategies while collaborating with engineering, operations, and executive leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies aligned with business growth objectives.
  • Own revenue, bookings, gross margin, backlog, and market share performance.
  • Drive business development across petrochemical, refining, energy, and industrial markets.
  • Lead complex, long-cycle OEM sales involving engineered equipment, EPC firms, and end users.
  • Manage strategic customer relationships, distributors, manufacturers' representatives, and channel partners.
  • Oversee forecasting, CRM, pipeline management, pricing, proposals, contract negotiations, and major bids.
  • Direct marketing initiatives including branding, digital marketing, trade shows, lead generation, and market intelligence.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing commercial team.
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, operations, finance, and product management to ensure customer satisfaction and profitable growth.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of commercial leadership experience in industrial OEM, engineered products, process equipment, or related markets.
  • Proven success selling into petrochemical, refining, chemical processing, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.
  • Experience leading technical, project-based sales with long sales cycles and EPC/customer engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM systems, forecasting, channel management, pricing strategy, and aftermarket business models.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and lead executive-level customer discussions.
