Pumps Sales Operations Analyst
Job Type: Full-Time
Position Summary
The Sales Operations Analyst supports the sales process from quotation through order fulfillment, working closely with customers, Sales, Engineering, Customer Service, Operations, distributors, and third-party manufacturing partners. The position is responsible for supporting quotations, order management, forecasting, backlog, vendor coordination, and on-time delivery while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Support sales opportunities with existing and new customers.
- Prepare and coordinate customer quotations, including technical and commercial requirements.
- Work with Sales, Engineering, Customer Service, and Operations to address customer requirements and technical questions.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and manufacturing partners.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, backlog, quotation, and order information.
- Review customer purchase orders and coordinate order entry, pricing, technical requirements, and delivery schedules.
- Manage customer backlog and proactively identify potential delivery issues.
- Manage purchase orders placed with third-party manufacturing vendors and monitor production and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate the Inside Sales order process to support accurate and on-time shipments.
- Communicate order status, schedule changes, and potential delays to customers and internal teams.
- Support key accounts and distributors in achieving sales and customer service objectives.
- Maintain accurate information in ERP, CRM, and reporting systems.
- Prepare sales, backlog, forecasting, and performance reports for Sales Management.
- Provide technical and commercial customer support as required.
Education & Experience
- Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Industrial Distribution, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Sales Operations, Inside Sales, Applications, Customer Service, or a related industrial role.
- Experience in oil & gas, manufacturing, industrial equipment, or engineered products preferred.
- Experience with reciprocating pumps is a plus.
- Experience working with distributors, customers, and third-party manufacturing partners is preferred.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Customer-focused, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
- Strong attention to detail in quotations, orders, pricing, and delivery schedules.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; Power BI experience is preferred.
- Experience with ERP and CRM systems is preferred.
- Additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel as required.
