Description:

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Lakeland, Florida. Remote work and employment sponsorship are not available for this position.

We are seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to support our Strategic Accounts team within the automotive tools & equipment and aftermarket distribution industry. This role partners closely with Strategic Account Managers to analyze customer assortments, pricing, product catalogs, sales performance, and business opportunities that drive profitable growth across key strategic accounts.

The successful candidate will combine strong analytical skills with a customer-focused mindset to evaluate product data, pricing, assortment opportunities, and reporting that support strategic sales initiatives. This position serves as an important link between Sales, Category Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Service, and IT to ensure customer programs are executed accurately, efficiently, and aligned with business objectives.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in sales operations, pricing, category management, product management, product data, strategic account support, wholesale distribution, or the automotive tools & equipment industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze customer product assortments across automotive tools, equipment, shop supplies, and related product categories to identify sales opportunities, pricing recommendations, assortment gaps, and growth opportunities.
  • Support Strategic Account Managers with customer proposals, RFP responses, pricing requests, customer implementations, product assortment reviews, and strategic account initiatives.
  • Maintain and optimize customer-specific product catalogs, pricing, item attributes, and related content across internal systems and customer-facing platforms.
  • Evaluate assortment opportunities and recommend product additions, rationalizations, pricing updates, and catalog improvements that support customer objectives and business growth.
  • Monitor product, pricing, and catalog accuracy while identifying and resolving discrepancies that impact customer experience or program execution.
  • Develop reporting and analytical insights that support strategic account planning, customer business reviews, sales performance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales, Category Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Customer Service, and IT to coordinate customer implementations and support ongoing strategic account programs.
  • Maintain organized documentation related to customer requirements, catalog standards, pricing updates, assortment strategies, and program changes.
  • Utilize reporting, analytics, and productivity tools to improve operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and business decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, data quality, scalability, and overall sales operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • Two or more years of experience in sales operations, pricing analysis, commercial analytics, product management, category management, product data management, strategic account support, or wholesale distribution.
  • Experience within the automotive tools & equipment industry, automotive aftermarket, wholesale distribution, industrial distribution, or another B2B distribution environment is strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is preferred.
  • Experience working with ERP systems, pricing systems, product information management, customer catalogs, or related business applications is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
  • Ability to analyze business data, identify trends, and make sound recommendations that support sales growth and customer success.
  • Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
