The Sales Order Coordinator supports the sales process by managing customer communications, processing orders, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain accurate customer and order information within CRM and ERP systems
- Generate and manage quotes, process purchase orders, and track order status
- Investigate and resolve customer issues, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution
- Coordinate with sales, production, shipping, logistics, and accounting teams to fulfill orders and address delays
- Act as a liaison between internal departments to ensure smooth order processing
- Process and enter incoming orders accurately, including updates and changes
- Support reporting on key accounts, sales activity, and rebate programs
- Prepare and distribute customer communications, pricing materials, and product information
- Assist with product research and project-based order coordination (including collaboration with external vendors)
- Contribute to audits and internal process improvements
- Support trade show and meeting coordination, including logistics and materials preparation
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and contribute to overall team success
- Provide backup support to team members as needed
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience (3-5 years in a similar role preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Comfortable working with technical product information and systems

- Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm
- Pay Range: $60-65k/yr.
