The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. Job Responsibilities:

The Sales and Product Manager is responsible for dedicated customer subjects in terms of Sales and relationship matters for the MML product group. This person coordinates Sales activities throughout the organization and is responsible for price structure, communicating customer needs and coordination of strategic goals. This is a regional role supporting all Actuator Products within the actuator group, aligning with strategies provided by the Global Director - Sales and the Global Product Management leads.

GENERAL

• Responsible for quoting and negotiating potential new business opportunities.

• Accountable for managing all Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) during both development and serial production phases.

• Responsible for re-pricing in accordance with contractual obligations for

OES/Aftermarket parts and industry disruptions.

• Oversee planning for new business initiatives and ensure the Sales Database is accurately updated by the designated team member.

• Report sales activities to the Group Office in accordance with Group requirements (e.g., bi-weekly sales reports, quote logs, recoveries, givebacks, and commercial issues).

• Collaborate with other disciplines such as Quality, Program Management, and

customer-facing teams to interact with the customer in line with MML Strategy and Policy.

• Support, develop, and execute the Sales Strategy.

• Assist management in making key business decisions.

• Coordinate with Global Product Management Leads and cooperate with internal departments (e.g., Product Engineering, Purchasing, Sales) across regions to support new business development projects.

• Initiate and coordinate market studies and keep market reports updated.

• Focus on regional needs by gathering relevant information, facilitating team meetings, and monitoring project progress. Review and critique regional project developments and coordinate product development efforts with regional customer groups such as Design, Engineering, Product Planning, and Product Line Management.

• Work closely with Engineering to support customer visits and regional technical shows, aiming to understand regional customer- and market needs to develop a robust regional strategy.

• Identify engineering and process gaps or needs within the region and align these with the global team.

• Develop a regional footprint aligned with global product strategies, considering customer requirements, technological complexity, and competitiveness.

• Support the development and execution of Product/Platform Portfolio Strategy.

• Assist with Market Intelligence activities in collaboration with Marketing.

• Support other regions in conducting business alongside the regional Sales Managers.

• Ensure all sales activities comply with the company's policies, as well as applicable national and local regulations, including the principles of the Magna Employee's Charter, Magna's Operational Principles, Environmental, Health & Safety Policies & Procedures, the MML Quality Policy, Program Execution Processes, and Business Protocols.

• Maintain a thorough understanding and respect for the laws and cultures of the countries where Magna operates, ensuring full compliance with all applicable regulations.

EDUCATION:

• High school Diploma / College Diploma / University Degree in designated area / Certification

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

• Completed Business Management or Engineering studies (Post Secondary Degree or Diploma in a related field)

• 2-3 years of working experience in Product Management for the automot
