RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS

  • Build genuine rapport with every customer who walks in
  • Guide buyers through our lineup without pressure or manufactured urgency
  • Present and demonstrate inventory, including test drives that close the deal
  • Follow up with every prospect, including the ones who didn't buy today
  • Log every contact and conversation in the CRM daily
  • Review inventory reports and stay current on what's on the lot
  • Maintain your CSI, gross average, and monthly unit count to store standards
  • Stay current on product knowledge and complete all required OEM certifications
  • Proactively mention our military discount to every active duty or veteran customer
  • Represent Star Auto Group in the community with professionalism

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Proven sales background in any industry
  • Valid Texas driver's license with a clean record
  • Strong communicator in person and by phone
  • Available to work Saturdays, which is when customers show up
  • CRM experience, or the willingness to learn fast
  • Prior automotive sales is a plus, not a requirement
  • Existing local relationships in the Abilene or Big Spring area are a plus
