Sales Project Engineer

A Sales Project Engineer acts as the technical bridge between customers, sales, engineering, and production to support waterworks and fire protection product lines. 

Role Overview
Primary Goal: Drive innovation and customer service by delivering precise product data, application-specific support, and project management from initial inquiry through final proposal.
Location: Full-time, on-site with occasional field work and travel.

Key Responsibilities
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, engineering, purchasing, and accounting to set up new part numbers, review bills-of-materials, and ensure accurate production drawings and pricing. 
Technical Support & Submittals: Update product data sheets, review specifications, and manage timely submittal processes.
Field & Customer Support: Represent the company in the field to troubleshoot product inefficiencies, conduct presentations, and build strong relationships with distributors and the sales force. 
Process Testing: Test modeling and procedures (such as in an AX environment) to guarantee operational and drawing accuracy. 

Key Qualifications
Background: Technical engineering education or equivalent practical experience.
Skills: Proficiency with CAD tools, strong project management, and clear written and verbal communication.
Knowledge: Aptitude for understanding complex industry standards and mechanical product specifications.
