Our manufacturing client in the Irwin, PA area is looking for a Proposal Engineer to support inbound and outbound operations.

-Review Requests for Quote (RFQs) and collaborate with sales, engineering, service, operations, and shipping teams to prepare cost estimates and detailed proposals for capital equipment, tooling, and aftermarket upgrades.
-Work closely with Technical Sales and Applications teams to analyze customer requirements and determine the most suitable machine models and tooling solutions.
-Support application evaluations to improve the likelihood of successful project implementation.
-Manage and coordinate tooling and aftermarket upgrade projects from planning through completion.
-Ensure effective communication and collaboration across departments to meet customer and project requirements.



-Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience preferred
-Experience working in an engineering role within an industrial or manufacturing environment
-Proficiency in engineering design software such as Pro/ENGINEER, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD preferred
-Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
-Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision in an office setting
-Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and departments
