Sales Quotation Intake Analyst (Manufacturing)

Do you enjoy turning a messy inbox of RFQs into organized, actionable quote packages? Can you navigate drawings and specifications, chase down inputs from multiple teams, and log every detail in ERP and Excel—without losing the thread? If so, you’ll thrive as our Sales Quotation Intake Analyst.

What you’ll tackle

• Examine RFQs, engineering drawings, specifications, and customer documents for requirements and gaps.
• Structure and route quote requests for internal review to align priorities and timelines.
• Assemble the initial quote package; record data accurately in ERP systems and spreadsheets.
• Coordinate inputs across Engineering, Purchasing, Operations, Quality, and Sales.
• Maintain status visibility and orderly records from intake through submission.
• Handle quote revisions, updates, and follow-up actions.
• Communicate professionally with internal partners on deliverables and due dates.
• Support the Quote Team Manager with administrative and quoting tasks.
• Confirm all documentation is accurate and complete before release.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Prior experience in administration, customer service, manufacturing, or quoting preferred.
• Detail-driven organizer with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office—especially Excel; ERP experience preferred.
• Collaborative, team-oriented working style.

Where and how you work

• Work Environment: Office setting with regular interaction with production and warehouse areas.
• Physical Demands: Occasional walking, standing, and warehouse site visits.
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday; flexible for extended hours when required.
• Location & Travel: Onsite in Milford, CT; occasional travel to suppliers, conferences, and other facilities.
