Position Summary

This role is responsible for managing all digital rental sales leads, ensuring a seamless and engaging customer journey. The position will work closely with the Marketing Manager and Sales Support Analyst to drive revenue growth within Rental Services by optimizing digital lead generation, conversion, and customer engagement strategies.  

Position Duties/Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming online customer inquiries from various social/digital platforms and identify sales opportunities.
  • Provide equipment information, answer questions, quote pricing, and process contract paperwork as part of rental order process.
  • Identify opportunities to re-engage inactive or dormant customers.
  • Design and optimize lead workflows to maximize revenue from initial inquiry to closed opportunity.
  • Maximize CRM functionality to enhance lead tracking, management, and conversion throughout the sales process.
  • Optimize processes for managing and converting leads and opportunities from online channels.
  • Provide a high level of customer service to all customers. Answer inquiries timely and efficiently.
  • Provide input on refining the online customer experience.
  • Partner with inside sales reps, branch managers, dispatch, and service shops to ensure that rental orders are completed and contractual agreements are met.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on digital sales activity, trends, and customer experience insights.
  • Act as a backup for the inside sales/counter team as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • No formal supervisory responsibilities

Position Requirements

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5 years’ experience in digital marketing, sales, and/or customer service

Preferred:

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business related field (Marketing, Business Administration, etc.)
  • Experience in a construction or mechanical environment/industry

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and listening skills
