LINK Staffing is hiring a Regional Battery Sales Engineer for a technical sales role supporting industrial battery and charger solutions. This position is a good fit for someone with experience in material handling, industrial batteries, chargers, or related equipment sales who can grow dealer relationships, support product demonstrations, train dealer teams, and manage sales activity across an assigned region.

The right candidate should be comfortable working with dealers, preparing quotes, following up on opportunities, tracking customer needs, and traveling as needed to support accounts and industry events.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and grow dealer relationships within an assigned region

• Support sales growth for industrial battery and charger solutions

• Train dealer sales teams on product capabilities, applications, and selling points

• Prepare customer quotes and follow up on open opportunities

• Support customer order entry, delivery tracking, and account communication

• Identify new dealer partnership opportunities within the territory

• Monitor competitor activity and market changes

• Use forecasting and account planning to project sales activity

• Participate in dealer meetings, trade shows, and promotional events

• Assist with account follow-up, customer questions, and collections support as needed

What We’re Looking For

• 3-5 years of experience in material handling, battery, charger, industrial equipment, or related sales preferred

• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, depending on industry experience

• Proven track record in sales, account management, dealer development, or territory growth

• Comfortable delivering sales presentations, product demonstrations, and customer training

• Strong customer service, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

• Able to manage quotes, follow-ups, forecasts, and customer communication

• Basic computer skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Goal-driven and able to manage time effectively

• Team-oriented with a sense of urgency

• Able to travel 30%-40%, including occasional weekends

• Must be able to pass a background check

• No active non-compete restrictions that would prevent employment in this role
