Required Experience & Qualifications
Experience supporting critical equipment within oil & gas, power generation, and heavy industrial markets
Experience in industrial service sales and customer support
Proven high-performing sales presence within the assigned region
Demonstrated track record of achieving customer satisfaction and profitable sales growth
Ability to identify business opportunities and effectively communicate them within RMS
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
OR
Equivalent years of outside sales experience within industrial services, machining, or manufacturing environments
Primary Role Responsibilities
Drive revenue growth by developing new business within targeted industrial markets
Build and manage long-term relationships with key decision-makers, including engineers, maintenance managers, and procurement teams
Identify opportunities for component repair, coating, grinding, and refurbishment services
Evaluate customer requirements, drawings, and specifications to define scope and recommend solutions
Lead the quoting and negotiation process for complex, high-value jobs
Collaborate closely with operations teams to ensure technical alignment, execution success, and customer satisfaction
Maintain a strong field presence through regular customer visits and industry engagement
Provide market intelligence and contribute to strategic growth initiatives

Additional Requirements
Strong technical background in rotating equipment, coatings, machining, or repair services

Established industry relationships within oil & gas, power generation, or related sectors preferred

Position is REMOTE
Full-time position with a minimum expectation of 40 hours per week; additional hours, evenings, or weekends may be required based on project demands
Ability to participate in company random or customer-specific drug and alcohol screenings and background checks
Ability to act professionally under stressful situations
Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English
Must be authorized to work in the United States
RMS may maintain government contracts that impose specific requirements on employees assigned to those projects. Employees who do not meet those requirements may be reassigned or deemed ineligible for certain assignments
The Role
RMS is seeking a high-performing, technically strong Sales Representative to drive strategic growth within our industrial services business in the Northeast - USA
This is not a transactional sales role. This position requires the ability to understand complex component repair challenges, engage with engineering and operations teams, and position RMS as a value-added partner.
The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical knowledge, strong industry relationships, and a proven ability to secure and manage high-value business opportunities.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this position, the employee may enter shop or field service environments with exposure to moving mechanical parts. Although work areas are generally maintained in a clean and safe condition, machining operations may generate moderate noise levels.

Earn $80,000-$175,000 (base salary plus commission)
