Brian Hollister State Farm is looking for a motivated Sales Representative who wants more than a traditional sales job. This is an opportunity to build your own “mini agency” within an established State Farm agency; developing relationships, building a book of business, and earning substantial income based on your sales success.

The ideal candidate is ambitious, competitive, entrepreneurial-minded, and motivated by the opportunity to earn more as they grow. A strong connection to the Grass Valley/Nevada City community and an established network of family, friends, professional contacts, organizations, clubs, or other community relationships is a major plus.

What You’ll Do

• Build and grow your own book of insurance business within the agency
• Develop relationships with prospects and customers throughout the local community
• Generate new business through networking, referrals, prospecting, and relationship building
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance products
• Conduct sales conversations and help customers make informed insurance decisions
• Follow up consistently with prospects and existing customers to uncover additional opportunities
• Build long-term customer relationships and generate referrals
• Take ownership of your sales results and continuously look for ways to grow
• Work closely with the agency team while developing your own client base

What We’re Looking For

• A highly motivated, goal-oriented sales professional
• Strong desire to build a successful career and earn significant income
• Entrepreneurial mindset and the desire to build something of your own
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable networking and developing business within the local community
• A strong personal or professional network in the Grass Valley/Nevada City area is a plus
• Previous sales experience is preferred
• Insurance experience is a plus, but not required
• An active insurance license is a plus, but not required at the time of hire—we will help you obtain the necessary licensing
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and be accountable for results

Compensation

$45,000–$60,000 base salary, depending on experience and insurance licensing, plus generous commissions.

The opportunity is designed for a highly motivated salesperson to earn $100,000+ annually through strong sales performance.
