The Opportunity

BIFP is seeking a Sales Representative to help grow our steel distribution business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, developing new business, and working in a fast-paced sales environment.

In this role, you will identify new opportunities, support customers in the construction and distribution markets, and build a long-term book of business. Success comes from proactive outreach, strong customer service, and the ability to understand customer needs and deliver solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and manage relationships with customers across the construction and distribution industries

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through outreach, networking, and market research

  • Support customers with product information, pricing, and order coordination

  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and customer satisfaction

  • Stay informed on market trends, pricing dynamics, and customer needs

  • Grow and maintain a profitable book of business


What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in sales, distribution, or construction-related industries preferred

  • Background in steel, reinforcing products, or building materials is a plus

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to generating business

  • Comfortable working in a performance-driven sales environment

  • Ability to learn quickly and operate independently
