Sales-focused role responsible for assisting prospective and existing enrollees with individual dental insurance products. The position combines inbound sales, customer service, enrollment support, billing assistance, and issue resolution.
Responsibilities
Receive inbound calls from prospective customers and existing enrollees.
Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate dental insurance products.
Explain plan costs, benefits, rates, eligibility, and payment options.
Complete applications, process sales, and forward enrollment information.
Respond to telephone, electronic, and written inquiries regarding eligibility, benefits, provider searches, claims, enrollment, and billing.
Research complex issues and provide accurate resolutions that support customer satisfaction and retention.
Perform eligibility verifications and adjust claims when appropriate.
Track and document customer interactions, inquiries, and resolutions in computer systems.
Maintain established production, quality, and response standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED preferred;equivalent proven experience may be considered.
Insurance sales license as required by applicable state regulations.
Four years of successful customer service or sales experience in a call center or high-contact environment.
Ability to pass basic computer, telephone, and mathematics assessments.
Ability to manage continuous customer contact and workflow distribution.
Strong organizational, leadership, time management, and multitasking skills.
Detail-oriented, flexible, and creative approach to problem-solving.
Ability to learn and retain new processes, policies, procedures, and guidelines.
