Tropical Tile & Marble Distributors is seeking a driven Sales Rep to grow relationships with residential architects and interior designers. This is a relationship-based, design-forward role focused on product specification and project sales.
**What You'll Do
**
- Build and manage relationships with architects & designers
- Prospect new design firms and studios
- Present tile/stone collections, new launches, and samples
- Conduct in-person visits, lunch & learns, and project follow-ups
- Drive specifications from concept through order
- Coordinate with showroom and operations teams
**What We're Looking For
**
- 1+ years outside sales (tile, stone, building materials, or design industry preferred)
- Existing architect/designer relationships a plus
- Strong presentation & communication skills
- Self-starter with solid follow-up and organization
- Valid driver's license + reliable transportation
**Nice-to-Have Add-Ons
**
- Background in interior design, architecture, or showroom sales
- Experience with CEU presentations or lunch & learns
- Familiarity with residential construction timelines & specifications
