Sales Representative - Direct Hire

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Representative to join our team in Youngstown, Ohio. As a Sales Representative, you will be part of a purpose-driven organization that values community support and personal growth. Your role will focus on developing new business, maintaining existing client relationships, and delivering top-notch service. This is an outside sales position where you'll promote our products and services directly to customers, both face-to-face and remotely. The position offers the chance to earn competitive pay, with a base salary during training and uncapped commission potential once established.

Hours:
1st Shift, 07:00 am – 07:00 pm, Monday through Friday

Pay:
$40K+ base during training then commission after training avg $70K- $120K annually 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new business and expand existing accounts within your territory
  • Qualify prospects and follow company account stratification goals
  • Research customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services
  • Present sales proposals, conduct product demonstrations, and develop solutions
  • Stay informed about market trends, products, and competitors' offerings
  • Answer customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, and availability
  • Provide practical training to customer personnel on products and services
  • Drive to customer locations, attend trade shows, and participate in company events
  • Collect receivables and coordinate deliveries with logistics team
  • Maintain sales records, prepare budgets and reports, and process credits
  • Attend sales meetings and review daily/weekly reports
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in outside sales or related fields
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Proficiency with MS Office and basic PC skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience in restaurant management, foodservice, or chef roles
  • Knowledge of ethnic market segments
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or higher
  • Previous outside sales or customer service experience
  • Experience in foodservice or restaurant management is a plus

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work on-site and travel within the territory
  • Willingness to train and build a book of business
  • Flexibility in schedule; start times vary from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm during training
