Sales Representative - Direct Hire

We are seeking a energetic and experienced Sales Representative to join our team in Youngstown, Ohio. You will be part of a purpose-driven organization that values community support and personal development. In this role, you will focus on developing new business, maintaining existing client relationships, and providing excellent service. This is an outside sales position where you will promote our products and services directly to customers, both face-to-face and remotely. The position offers a competitive base salary during training and uncapped commissions once established, providing the potential to earn between $70,000 and $120,000 annually.

Hours:
1st Shift, 07:00 am – 07:00 pm, Monday through Friday

Pay:
Starting at $40,000+ base during training, then commission after training. Average earnings range from $70,000 to $120,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop new business and expand existing accounts within your territory
  • Qualify prospects and follow company account goals
  • Research customer needs and recommend suitable products and services
  • Present sales proposals, demonstrate products, and develop solutions
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitors’ offerings
  • Answer questions about products, pricing, and availability
  • Provide practical training to customers on products and services
  • Travel to customer locations, attend trade shows, and participate in events
  • Collect receivables and coordinate deliveries with logistics
  • Maintain sales records, prepare budgets and reports, and process credits
  • Attend sales meetings and review reports
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:
  • Proven sales experience, preferably in outside sales or related fields
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Proficiency with MS Office and basic computer skills
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Experience in restaurant management, foodservice, or chef roles
  • Knowledge of ethnic market segments
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or higher
  • Previous outside sales or customer service experience
  • Experience in foodservice or restaurant management is a plus

Other Requirements:
  • Ability to work on-site and travel within the territory
  • Willingness to train and build a book of business
  • Flexibility in schedule; start times vary from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm during training
