Position Overview:
We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Sales Representative to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to manage and grow an established portfolio of accounts, deepen existing customer relationships, and maximize sales performance across a defined territory. This position is ideal for someone with a passion for beverages, strong relationship-building skills, and a proven track record in route sales or account management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Management:
- Manage a defined route of existing accounts, including restaurants, bars, and retailers.
- Conduct regular, scheduled visits to ensure account satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth.
- Present new products, promotions, and brand initiatives to buyers, tailoring the approach to each account's specific needs.
- Identify and execute opportunities to expand placement, increase shelf space, and drive volume within existing accounts.
- Relationship Building:
- Cultivate and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with buyers and decision-makers across the route.
- Act as a brand ambassador, fostering enthusiasm and loyalty for the company's portfolio of products.
- Reporting & Strategy:
- Track all sales activities and maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to refine strategies for account acquisition and growth.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in route sales, account management, or a related role, ideally within the beverage, food, or consumer goods industries.
- Strong ability to grow and retain accounts by delivering consistent value and service.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and present effectively to buyers.
- Knowledge of the beverage industry, including distribution channels and market dynamics, is highly preferred.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset, highly organized, and capable of managing a busy route independently in a fast-paced environment.
