B2B Sales Consultant (Fire & Security Solutions)

Location:
New York, NY (On-site / Territory-Based)

Compensation:
Base Salary ($75,000–$100,000) + Uncapped Commission (1st Year OTE: $115K–$140K)

Travel:
Local travel for client meetings and prospecting

About the Company

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new business through networking, outreach, and market research

  • Conduct in-person client meetings to assess needs and develop tailored fire and security solutions

  • Present value-driven proposals leveraging advanced technology and in-house design capabilities

  • Manage full sales cycle from lead generation through close

  • Maintain pipeline activity, forecasting, and reporting within Salesforce CRM

  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals and ensure successful project delivery

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships within assigned territory

  • Continuously expand network within key verticals and industries


Qualifications 

  • Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in a major metro market (NYC or similar)

  • Track record of exceeding sales targets and closing new business

  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to thrive in a face-to-face, field-based sales environment

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strong drive and accountability

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills


Preferred Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS)

  • Existing network in architecture, construction, property management, IT, or related industries

  • Experience selling fire alarm systems, security solutions, or technical products

  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms


Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $75,000–$100,000
On-Target Earnings (OTE) / Bonus Structure: $115K–$140K+ (uncapped commission)
