Sales Representative

About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Sales Representative with a background in industrial gears, gearboxes, power transmission, or related industrial equipment.

This is a relationship-driven, technical sales position where you will work directly with industrial customers to understand their applications, identify opportunities, and connect them with the appropriate engineering and manufacturing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with industrial customers and accounts
• Identify new business opportunities within an assigned territory
• Sell industrial gears, gearboxes, reducers, and related power transmission solutions
• Understand customer applications and determine appropriate solutions
• Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop custom solutions
• Prepare proposals, quotes, and presentations for customers
• Conduct customer visits, sales calls, and presentations
• Manage the sales process from initial contact through project completion
• Grow existing accounts while developing new customer relationships
• Stay informed on customer needs, industry trends, and competitive activity
• Maintain accurate customer and sales information in CRM systems

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial or technical sales experience preferred
• Experience selling gears, gearboxes, reducers, or power transmission equipment strongly preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to understand industrial applications
• Comfortable communicating with engineers and technical customers
• Strong relationship-building and business development skills
• Ability to manage a sales territory independently
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory
