Client Overview:
Our client is a long-established seafood supplier with nearly 100 years of experience, located in Newark, NJ. They provide high-quality seafood products, including calamari, fin fish, octopus, shellfish, and breaded seafood, to restaurants and food-service providers. They are currently looking to add a Sales Representative to their team.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$27/hr - $30/hr depending on experience
$65k - 80k perm

Position Overview:
Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this Sales Representative role. The ideal candidate is a team player who is motivated, collaborative, and eager to grow. While the company is willing to train, candidates with prior sales, food, or seafood industry experience are highly preferred.

Responsibilities of the Sales Representative:
  • Client Relationship Building: Support and grow relationships with the restaurant and food-service customers.
  • Sales Outreach: Conduct outreach to new and existing clients to drive business.
  • Product Familiarity: Learn seafood product lines to effectively support customer needs.
  • Order Support: Assist with order entry, follow-ups, and customer service.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Client Visits: Visit customers as needed (transportation reimbursed).
Required Experience/Skills for the Sales Representative:

  • Corporate Sales experience is preferred.
