What You’ll Do

As our Outside Sales Representative, you’ll be the face of Express Employment Professionals in the Roanoke and New River Valley business communities. You’ll spend your time building connections, uncovering opportunities, and helping employers find workforce solutions that work.

You will:

• Develop new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, cold calling, and face-to-face visits
• Build lasting relationships with business owners, hiring managers, HR professionals, and other key decision-makers
• Learn about each client’s workforce challenges and recommend customized staffing and recruiting solutions
• Present Express services, including temporary staffing, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire recruiting
• Negotiate service agreements and pricing
• Stay connected with clients to ensure satisfaction and uncover additional opportunities
• Partner closely with our recruiting team to deliver successful candidate placements
• Manage and grow your designated territory while achieving revenue and activity goals
• Represent Express at networking events, business organizations, and community functions
• Become a trusted resource for employers throughout the region

Who We’re Looking For

You’re motivated by goals, energized by people, and comfortable creating opportunities instead of waiting for them to appear.

You know that great sales careers are built through consistency, relationships, follow-up, and a willingness to get out there and make things happen.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of successful B2B sales experience preferred
• Staffing, recruiting, HR, or workforce solutions experience is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to develop new business and grow client relationships
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Self-motivated with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals
• Comfortable working independently and managing a sales territory
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
• Valid driver’s license
