Hugg and Hall Equipment Company is looking for someone with proven sales and customer service skills to join our team as a Sales Representative for our Product Support team. We are a full-service equipment company specializing in industrial and construction equipment since 1956. 

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Customer Service Sales role is responsible for promoting and growing aftermarket parts and service sales, while ensuring first class customer service. This position is accountable for the entire customer experience from initial quote through final repair, accurate invoicing, and payment collection. The role requires strong customer-facing and field-based interaction to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

In this role, you will:

  • Engage with current and prospective customers to promote and sell aftermarket parts and service, address inquiries or concerns, build lasting business relationships, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage time and assigned territory by establishing a routine and schedule that allows for effective territory coverage and adequate face-to-face interaction with customers and potential customers. Own the complete customer experience: from quote to repair, invoice to payment.
  • Communicate effectively with all involved parties to ensure quotes are processed in a timely manner, jobs are progressing as scheduled, and sales targets are being reached.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of sales or account management experience
  • College Degree in Business or Sales highly preferred
  • Knowledge or prior experience related to industrial equipment a HUGE plus
  • Independent time management and organization
  • Minimum of 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license and a Safe driving record
  • Ability to obtain a forklift certification
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and travel regularly in a field-based role

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS

  • This position will mostly be working in operating facilities and outdoors traveling to numerous customer locations.
  • The employee will encounter varying weather conditions and temperatures.
  • The normal auto hazards will apply.
  • This position is continuously required to talk or hear; regularly required to sit, stand, walk, or climb.
  • This position will frequently use hands to type and requires sitting at a computer desk for extended periods of time with frequent use of computer keyboard.
  • Must be able to frequently lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Position requires driving vehicle to and from customer locations on occasion.
