Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to expand our metal fabrication business throughout Texas. This role focuses on developing new customer relationships, managing existing accounts, and promoting our full range of fabrication capabilities. The ideal candidate has experience in industrial or manufacturing sales and understands how to communicate technical value to customers across multiple industries.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Develop and manage a sales pipeline across assigned Texas regions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and industry events.
  • Build strong relationships with customers in industries such as construction, oil & gas, manufacturing, aerospace, transportation, and custom fabrication.
  • Consult customers to understand project requirements, specifications, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with engineering, estimating, and production teams to prepare accurate quotes and proposals.
  • Present and promote fabrication capabilities including welding, cutting, forming, machining, assembly, and finishing services.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts while maintaining profitability.
  • Provide ongoing customer support to ensure project success and long‑term satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and customer interactions using CRM tools.
  • Represent the company professionally at all times.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in metal fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial services.
  • Strong understanding of fabrication processes (welding, CNC machining, laser cutting, sheet metal, structural steel, etc.).
  • Ability to read or interpret technical drawings and blueprints (preferred).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently across a large territory.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout Texas.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Existing network within Texas industrial or construction markets.
  • Experience selling custom or engineered‑to‑order products.
  • Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems.
  • Mechanical aptitude or background in engineering, fabrication, or manufacturing.

Work Environment

This position requires frequent travel to customer sites, fabrication facilities, and industry events throughout Texas- East Texas (Tyler), West Texas (Midland), Dallas, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio.  Occasional visits to the company’s main facility may be required for training, project coordination, or team meetings.

Physical Demands


  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods during customer visits, meetings, or trade events


  • Frequent driving to customer locations, sometimes for several hours at a time


  • Occasional lifting, carrying, or transporting product samples, marketing materials, or demonstration equipment (typically up to 25 lbs)


  • Regular use of computers and other electronic devices (tablets and cellphones)


  • Clear verbal communication for presentations, customer interactions, and phone conversations
