A Manufacturing Sales Representative is responsible for selling a manufacturer's products to businesses by identifying potential customers, understanding their needs, demonstrating product features, negotiating prices, closing deals, and maintaining ongoing customer relationships, in-depth knowledge of the product line and industry market dynamics to provide expert advice and support to clients Key Responsibilities:Lead Generation:Actively seek out new potential customers through market research, networking, attending trade shows, and following up on leads. Customer Relationship Building:Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients by regular communication, understanding their needs, and providing excellent customer service. Product Demonstration:Present product features and benefits to customers, showcasing how they can solve specific problems and meet their requirements. Sales Presentations:Deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective customers, highlighting product advantages and differentiating from competitors. Needs Analysis:Conduct thorough needs assessments with clients to identify their specific requirements and tailor product recommendations accordingly. Price Negotiation:Negotiate pricing and contract terms with customers to reach mutually beneficial agreements. Order Processing:Prepare and submit sales orders, ensuring accuracy in product specifications and delivery details. Sales Reporting:Track sales performance, analyze market trends, and generate regular sales reports to management. Technical Expertise:Develop a deep understanding of the technical aspects of the manufactured products to effectively address customer inquiries. After-Sales Support:Provide ongoing support to customers post-sale, including addressing concerns, resolving issues, and training on product usage Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred.
