Archadeck Outdoor Living is North America’s leading designer and builder of custom decks, porches, sunrooms, hardscape patios, and shade structures. We are seeking a motivated Design Consultant with strong residential design skills, the ability to understand customer needs, and a passion for creating beautiful outdoor living spaces. Previous sales experience is a plus, but excellent communication, customer service, and a strong work ethic are required.

Responsibilities
  • Present and sell custom outdoor living solutions to prospective and existing clients.
  • Follow up on all leads from marketing, referrals, self-generation, and trade partners.
  • Qualify prospects, deliver presentations, prepare proposals, and close sales following the company’s documented process.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and build long-term client relationships.
  • Maintain product knowledge of decks, porches, and outdoor living categories.
  • Manage client database, prepare status reports, and track progress toward sales goals.
  • Handle contract administration and payment follow-up per company terms.
Traits and Skill Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent visualization, design sense, and math skills.
  • Minimum 2 years of sales experience with a proven ability to meet quotas.
  • Comfort with modern technology and communication tools.
  • Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
  • Quick learner who is collaborative, customer-focused, and eager to innovate.
Preferred:
  • Basic knowledge of construction and ability to read construction drawings.
