Description

What You'll DoOwn the monthly sales commission process across multiple sales segments, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and operational excellenceImprove day‑to‑day operations by identifying process gaps, fixing inefficiencies, and building practical tracking for new initiatives as the business growsAnalyze compensation results to identify trends, surface risks, and provide actionable insights to leadershipReview deal structures and financial terms to ensure alignment with compensation policies and revenue recognition requirementsPartner cross‑functionally with Finance, Sales, Systems and Strategy to support compensation plan execution and business initiativesMaintain and optimize compensation systems, reporting and dashboarding by leveraging tools such as Salesforce and CaptivateIQ to elevate sales performance visibility, improve data integrity, and enhance the overall experience for sales teams and cross‑functional stakeholdersPartner closely with Datadog's most senior leaders to evaluate, design, and operationalize new sales strategy programsWho You Are1‑3 years of experience in Finance, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Incentive Compensation, or Business Analytics — ideally within a high‑growth SaaS and/or multi‑national public companyHighly analytical with advanced Excel skills and experience working with large datasets; familiarity with Tableau, Metabase, CaptivateIQ (or similar compensation software), and other BI tools is a plusA strong problem solver who can recognize patterns and translate data into insights; prior exposure to SaaS economics, deal structuring, or MRR business models is highly valuedComfortable operating and thinking in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment with shifting prioritiesExcellent interpersonal skills with experience presenting to teams of various functions and levels, including C‑suite executivesDemonstrated project ownership and delivery – ability to manage cross‑functional relationships, coordinate priorities, and drive projects forward across teams and stakeholdersBenefits and GrowthGenerous and competitive benefits packageNew hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase planContinuous career development and pathing opportunitiesProduct training to develop an in‑depth understanding of our product and spaceFriendly and inclusive workplace cultureDatadog offers a competitive salary and equity package, and may include variable compensation.
