Reser’s Fine Foods – Job Description

Title: Specialist- Sales FLSA Status: Exempt

Location: Corporate Job Family: Sales and Marketing

Reports to: Director- Sales Career Track/Level: IC2

Job Summary:

Assists Costco/BJ’s Sales Team in all aspects of preparing for sales calls, follows up on sales calls, new item project management, sales analysis and demand planning.

Essential Position Functions: 

1. Builds sales presentations by gathering all information needed from various internal groups. Work closely with Marketing, Corporate Project Management Team and R&D.

2. Item Agreement Management by maintaining existing items and populating all pages for new items.  

3. Manages promotional data entry and ongoing maintenance through our trade promotion platform, Blacksmith.

4. Keep tool updated with new items for ease of use for sales team. Publish reports generated by this tool.

5. Generates IRI reports - including basic sales, promotional sales lift, out of stock report, underperforming location report and others as needed.

6. Manage sample requests for all in-person Costco meeting, follow up samples to go to Costco Regional Buyers, and new item samples for sales team review. 

7. Populate workbooks for sales approval to help with demand planning.

8. Performs special projects and other related duties, as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• 2-5 years general office experience. 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong PC skills are required

• Strong written and verbal communication skills 

Physical Demands and Working Conditions: 

• Office environment.

Exempt only: This position is eligible for a bonus based on company goals/performance.
