Title: Specialist - Sales Support / Order Management 
Duration: 12 months Contract
Location: Cary, NC 27511

Shift: Standard Business Hours

Position Summary
• Prepares, reviews and books customer orders / revisions to orders.
• Reviews customer orders and checks consistency and completeness in cooperation with all involved stakeholders on both customer side and Client's sales or project management organization.
• Initiates sales orders / purchase orders to vendors according to customers' requirements.
• Interfaces with factory and product / marketing groups to resolve configurations and technical changes.
• Guides customer sales support processes and contributes to business process execution and technology solutions.

Responsibilities
• Prepares, reviews and books customer orders / revisions to orders.
• Reviews customer orders and checks consistency and completeness in cooperation with all involved stakeholders on both customer side and Client's sales or project management organization.
• Initiates sales orders / purchase orders to vendors according to customers' requirements.
• Interfaces with factory and product / marketing groups to resolve configurations and technical changes.
• May determine discount rates applied at time of sale.
• May resolve issues related to transaction quality.
• Guides the customer sales support process related to factory tours, product demonstrations or presentations, new product trainings, trade shows, field sales support and pricing.

Qualifications

Experience:
• 2+ years of relevant experience or Master's Entry.
• Typically these functions require 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in their field of work and qualification.

Skills:
• Good knowledge in a technical field or business method including the basic theoretical background.
• Develops basic business understanding.
• Contributes to team effort and awareness of expected value add.
• Needs professional technological know how, methods, tools and principles, and applies them to differing and variable situations.
• Needs to solve assigned, non-routine tasks, contribute to projects or assignments, or support development of guidelines, methods, tools or business processes.
• May improve processes, business methods or technical components.

Additional Information
• "Experienced Professional" position.
• Expected to contribute to and deliver business processes or detailed technology solutions in a self-managed and target-oriented manner and contribute to team results.
• Positions focus on analyzing, developing, testing or implementing processes, technologies and systems in their specific field of expertise, from first principles.
• Targets are short to medium term (best characterized as milestones), and achievements are monitored.
