Completes a number of processes and activities during the sales process with respect to an effective administration of proposals and sales orders (incl. Bid Management) for an assigned organizational unit or customer target group, concerning both sales and after-sales processes.
Service Sales Support - West Zone

In this role, the successful candidate will complete several internal processes supporting Siemens Healthineers Service Contract Sales and Point of Sale activities. Responsibilities include assisting with proposal and contract preparation, reviewing and revising customer price quotes, and performing analysis and editing for Service Contract Sales. This role also offers the opportunity to gain proficiency in Diagnostic Imaging Equipment Service Contract Sales, with exposure to additional business areas.

Responsibilities
  • Perform activities related to creating, reviewing, analyzing, editing, and escalating preliminary Service quotes in the Sales Tracker Tool (CPQ/Shareville) for the Service and Equipment Sales teams.
  • Validate new contracts by gathering required contract and configuration documents to ensure accurate and efficient sales quote generation.
  • Support sales teams by providing historical customer contract information and reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with Service Sales Executives to understand customer configurations and specific deliverables to ensure quote accuracy.
  • Review customer orders and ensure consistency and completeness in partnership with internal stakeholders, the customer, and Siemens' sales or project management teams.
  • Interface with marketing groups to resolve configuration issues and technical changes.
  • Determine discount rates applied at the time of sale, as applicable.
  • Support full sales procedures, analyze issues, implement changes, and participate in market research or sales/marketing activities within Service Sales.
  • Identify local and regional customers, markets, or regions suited for the service portfolio across various sales channels.

Education
  • BA/BS in Business or a related field, plus 3+ years of quoting, contract, or medical equipment service/sales experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple internal groups and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve moderately complex problems using effective problem-solving strategies; able to make informed decisions and recommendations.
  • Ability to provide effective and meaningful feedback and operate well in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and meet sensitive deadlines.
  • Excellent computing and writing skills with strong attention to detail, including editing and rewriting proposals, contracts, and producing accurate quotes.
  • Demonstrated ownership of issues and willingness to collaborate with peers and cross-functional teams to resolve challenges and improve processes.
  • Proficiency in updating processes to improve team results and building workflows to enhance overall effectiveness.

Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with Medical Imaging Equipment Service Contracts, clinical environments, and matrixed organizations.
  • Basic understanding of Siemens Healthineers Service product lines and how product differences impact quoting.
  • Experience with the end-to-end sales cycle and complete quote process.
