Role Description The Sales Support Representative is responsible for generating and developing sales opportunities through consistent outbound customer outreach while providing responsive support for inbound sales inquiries. This position plays a key role in expanding relationships with existing customers, identifying new sales opportunities, reactivating inactive accounts, following up on quotes and open orders, and helping move opportunities through the sales process.

The successful candidate will make a high volume of professional outbound calls and emails to customers and prospective customers, identify purchasing needs, communicate product availability and value, prepare accurate quotes, and coordinate internally to support timely order fulfillment. The role also handles inbound customer questions, order-related requests, product inquiries, and follow-up communication.

Working closely with sales, distribution, service, and leadership teams, this person will maintain accurate customer and opportunity records in our CRM, track follow-up activity, resolve or escalate customer concerns, and help deliver a reliable, high-quality customer experience. Success in this role requires comfort with outbound selling, strong follow-through, organization, product curiosity, and the ability to build trust with customers over the phone and by email.

- Conduct consistent outbound calls and emails to existing, and prospective customers to identify sales opportunities and generate new business.

- Follow up promptly on quotes, leads, open orders, abandoned opportunities, and customer inquiries.
- \n
- Build relationships with customer contacts and identify opportunities for repeat purchases, cross-selling, and upselling.
- \n
- Respond to inbound calls, emails, and website or referral inquiries in a professional, timely, customer-focused manner.
- \n
- Qualify customer needs and recommend appropriate products, parts, services, or next steps in coordination with the sales teams.
- \n
- Prepare accurate quotes, enter and process sales orders, and ensure order details are complete and correctly documented.
- \n
- Coordinate with distribution, purchasing, service, and sales personnel regarding product availability, shipment status, delivery timing, and customer issues.
- \n
- Maintain accurate and current customer, lead, contact, quote, order, and activity records in NetSuite.
- \n
- Track outbound activity, pipeline status, quote follow-up, and sales results using CRM reports and established performance metrics.
- \n
- Escalate inventory constraints, pricing questions, service concerns, order discrepancies, and high-priority customer issues to the appropriate team members.

- Support promotional campaigns, customer outreach initiatives, product announcements, and other sales or marketing activities.

- Contribute feedback on common customer questions, sales objections, product demand, and process improvement opportunities.

Required qualifications
\n

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- \n
- One or more years of experience in inside sales, outbound sales, business development, customer service, account support, or a comparable customer-facing role.
- \n
- Demonstrated comfort making proactive outbound calls and following up persistently and professionally.
- \n
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to speak clearly, write professional emails, and communicate product or order information accurately.
- \n
- Customer-focused approach with the ability to build rapport, listen for needs, and maintain professionalism in challenging situations.
- \n
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple customer requests, follow-ups, and deadlines.
- \n
- Ability to learn product information and communicate it confidently to customers.
- \n
- Experience preparing quotes, entering orders, maintaining customer records, or performing sales-administration tasks.
- \n
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- \n
- Experience using a CRM, ERP, or order-management system; NetSuite experience is preferred but not required.
- \n
- Ability to work full-time on site in Tomball, Texas.

Preferred qualifications

- Two or more years of outbound inside-sales or account-development experience.
- \n
- Experience working in parts distribution, electronics, technical products, industrial equipment, gaming, casino operations, or a similar B2B environment.
- \n
- Experience with NetSuite, including customer records, opportunities, estimates/quotes, sales orders, and activity tracking.
- \n
- Experience working with product availability, inventory, shipping coordination, purchasing, or order fulfillment.
- \n
- Familiarity with consultative selling, account reactivation, pipeline management, and quote-to-order conversion.

- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or a related field
