Job Description: Essential Accountabilities
Coordinates and collaborates with disparate groups within the company (lab scientists, marketing, order fulfillment, shipping, outside sales, direct client teams) to meet the needs of customers.
Main contact for all aspects of customer order fulfillment, including but not limited to sales, technical support, sales quotes (entry and follow-up), customer service, CRM data entry, and pre- and post-sales marketing activities.
Input, approve, and update customer data in ERP (Sage) and CRM (Salesforce) systems.
Sales support includes international distributors, global client teams, and domestic (US) customers.
Responsible for lead management, lead follow-up, and opportunity closing throughout the territory.
Participate in business process improvement groups and assist in driving change throughout the organization.
Work is performed in the office.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Life Science and/or a business-related field preferred.
1–2 years of previous account management, marketing, sales, or customer service experience.
Familiarity with order management/ERP software (Sage, SAP, etc.).
Salesforce or other CRM experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
Critical problem-solving and analytical skills.
Computer proficiency and strong familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
Positive attitude with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Customer-focused.
