Sales Support Representative

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to support customer order fulfillment, sales operations, and account management activities. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the order lifecycle while partnering with internal teams including laboratory scientists, marketing, order fulfillment, shipping, and sales to ensure an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, experience with CRM/ERP systems, and the ability to support scientific products and laboratory customers.

Additional Details:

Contract Length: 4 Months with the possibility of extensions

Pay range: $20 to $26 per hour on W2 (As per experience)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including laboratory scientists, marketing, order fulfillment, shipping, and sales to meet customer needs.
• Serve as the primary contact for customer order fulfillment, including sales support, technical support, quotations, customer service, and post-sales follow-up.
• Prepare, enter, and manage sales quotes and customer orders.
• Maintain accurate customer information in CRM and ERP systems.
• Process, approve, and update customer records in Sage or similar ERP platforms and Salesforce or comparable CRM systems.
• Support domestic customers as well as international distributors and global commercial teams.
• Manage sales leads, follow up on opportunities, and assist with opportunity closure.
• Participate in business process improvement initiatives and support operational efficiency projects.
• Assist with pre-sales and post-sales marketing activities.
• Communicate technical product information and laboratory application support to customers when needed.
• Ensure timely and accurate resolution of customer inquiries while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in account management, customer service, sales support, marketing, or a related role.
• Experience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar systems.
• Familiarity with ERP/order management software such as Sage, SAP, or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Laboratory experience or experience supporting scientific products, laboratory instrumentation, or consumables.
• Understanding of scientific applications, laboratory workflows, and technical product information.
• Experience working with domestic and international customers or distributors.

Must be authorized to work in the United States.
