Sales Support Specialist

Advanced Personnel Resources (APR) is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inside Sales Support Specialist to join a growing team within the industrial manufacturing sector. This role serves as a key link between customers, sales teams, and internal departments: supporting the full sales cycle from quoting to order fulfillment.

Location: Burlington, NC

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

Employment Type: Contract / Temp-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to customers and sales teams via phone, email, and online platforms
• Prepare and issue quotes based on customer specifications and project requirements
• Research bid opportunities and project details
• Enter and process purchase orders accurately within an ERP system
• Follow up on open quotes, orders, and customer inquiries to ensure timely resolution
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to manage shipments and delivery schedules
• Track shipments and assist with resolving order discrepancies or returns
• Maintain organized sales records, including orders, shipping documentation, and pricing
• Support reporting, data entry, and internal communication across departments
• Collaborate with production and inventory teams to confirm product availability and lead times
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams
• Assist with additional duties and occasional trade show support as needed
