Description
Payrate: $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
Summary: This position is responsible for ongoing operation and maintenance of the Health Plan's systems utilized for the Broker and Sales Rep assignments and compensation process, including administration and payment for the Health Plan's Broker and Sales Incentive Programs. Responsibilities include execution of monthly processing jobs, audit testing, and quality assurance. The incumbent performs continuous assessment of end-to-end system operating performance from an end-to-end business operation. The position actively manages resolution of defects and installation of new releases designed to achieve optimal system performance. The position serves as the lead technical representative for interactions in relation to these applications. The analyst is also responsible for the reporting and analyzing of data used to make strategic decisions regarding the compensation program.
Responsibilities
Conducts the commission plan administration activities, including plan setup, management of monthly and quarterly commission payment cycles, and ensuring timely distribution of reports and processing of commission payments.
Partners with IT, commissions vendor, and sales to drive improvements in commission processing.
Researches, queries, and understands data flows to explain variances in commission pay and/or target attainment and communicate this to customers.
Researches problems and structures solutions.
Works cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to deliver value.
Assists with the enhancement of policies, procedures, and business practices that improve efficiency within the Commissions function and the business.
Assists in the appointment process for new brokers of the Health Plan, as well as the relationship with the general agency.
Researches and processes Broker of Record (BOR) and Sales Representative changes in the applicable systems.
Triages broker web access submissions and serves as the liaison between broker partners, Data Security, and the Web Help Desk.
Maintains current system and process documentation and catalogs all documentation to assure compliance with internal policy and required regulations.
Updates and maintains broker collateral.

Qualifications
Associate degree in Business Administration or a related field with a minimum of two years of experience in data or information analysis and reporting, or related experience. Bachelor's degree in Business or a similar discipline preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and quality.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Capable of establishing effective relationships with internal and external customers.
Adaptable to a dynamic work environment and rapidly changing priorities.
Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Proven aptitude to readily learn new skills, applications, and tools.
Skills
Ability to work prolonged periods sitting and/or standing at a workstation and working on a computer.
Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or training as needed.
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $30.00 - $30.00 /hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
