About the Role
We are seeking an experienced SALES TERRITORY MANAGER to sell manufacturing equipment into industrial and production environments. In this role, you'll manage a portfolio of manufacturing clients, drive new business, and serve as a consultative partner delivering tailored equipment solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage accounts within a defined territory, focusing on both new business and existing relationships
- Conduct product demos, site visits, and technical presentations
- Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing/contracts, and maintain detailed CRM records
- Collaborate with engineering, service, and operations teams to deliver full-cycle solutions
- Represent the company at trade shows and customer events
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and equipment technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- 6+ years of experience selling capital equipment or machinery into manufacturing environments
- Strong technical aptitude and consultative selling skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
- Proficient with CRM tools and forecasting
- Willingness to travel regionally (25%)
