Job Title: Salesforce Business Analyst
Location: Remote

Job Description : We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Business Analyst to support the migration from Salesforce Classic to Lightning Experience. The role involves analyzing existing business processes, gathering and translating requirements, and enabling the design of scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with Lightning capabilities.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to ensure a smooth and effective transition, while maximizing value through enhanced user experience, automation, and process optimization.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to assess current-state (Classic) processes and define future-state (Lightning) solutions
  • Conduct Discovery sessions, requirement elicitation workshops and translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and transformation opportunities during migration
  • Design/configure declarative solutions including workflows, validation rules, reports, dashboards, and Lightning components
  • Work with design and development teams to ensure scalable and feasible solutions aligned with business goals
  • Manage project activities including requirement gathering, planning, tracking, and execution
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation (process flows, data models, functional specs)
  • Drive backlog grooming, prioritization, and sprint planning in collaboration with Product Owners
  • Ensure scope adherence to SoW and manage change control processes where required
  • Support UAT planning, coordination, and defect resolution
  • Promote CRM best practices and Lightning adoption strategies across business users
  • Provide training, enablement, and change management support to ensure high user adoption

Required Skills & Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience as a Salesforce Business Analyst
  • Proven experience in Salesforce Classic to Lightning migration programs (Minimum 1 project experience)
  • Strong expertise in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud, Other cloud experiences are advantageous
  • Hands-on experience with Lightning Experience features, limitations, and adoption tools
  • Strong knowledge of requirement gathering, process mapping, and documentation (BRD, FRD, user stories)
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (Jira, ADO, Confluence)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills (onshore coordination)
  • Understanding of integrations, data migration, and Salesforce ecosystem
  • Insurance domain knowledge

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Business Analyst)
  • Experience with Lightning Readiness Reports, Usage App, and adoption metrics
  • Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, and release management processes
  • BFSI Domain experience
