Salesforce Data Quality & Deduplication Lead

Summary:

Location: Atlanta, GA

Responsibilities:

• Drive Salesforce data quality initiatives across Sales Cloud and Health Cloud environments.
• Conduct comprehensive Salesforce Data Quality Assessments, documenting duplicate trends, root causes, affected objects, and associated business impacts.
• Develop historical data remediation strategies, including matching, scoring, survivorship rules, and merge processes.
• Establish an ongoing duplicate detection and prevention framework.
• Design and implement daily merge processing and data stewardship processes.
• Provide data quality governance recommendations and solution architecture.
• Create technical recommendations covering Salesforce native capabilities, Apex-based solutions, ETL and batch-processing approaches, and integration mechanisms.
• Develop an implementation roadmap including effort estimation, risk assessment, and recommended path forward.
• Document all research, analysis, findings, and recommendations for both technical and business stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Health Cloud.
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce Account, Lead, Contact, Opportunity, and related object data models.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce record relationships, sharing models, and data architecture.
• Proven experience as a Salesforce Data Architect, Data Steward, or Data Quality Lead.
• Advanced proficiency in SOQL.
• Experience with Salesforce data migration, data cleansing, deduplication, and record merge processes.
• Good understanding of Apex and Batch Apex development.
• Experience designing and implementing matching, scoring, survivorship, and merge rules.
• Working knowledge of Salesforce integrations and data synchronization patterns.
• Experience with custom objects, automation, workflows, flows, and platform events.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong ETL and data integration experience using tools such as Informatica, MuleSoft, Talend, SSIS, or similar platforms.
• Experience with both real-time and batch integrations.
• Ability to independently analyze, document, articulate findings, and present executive-level recommendations.
• Ability to assess business impact and recommend optimal remediation strategies.
