The ideal candidate will ensure system stability, resolve technical issues, perform bug fixes, and support critical workforce operations. This role requires strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Administration, APEX development, SOQL, and Salesforce security.

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Administrator & APEX Developer for a contract engagement within the IT department. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily management, troubleshooting, maintenance, and enhancement of a Workforce solution built on the Salesforce platform.
The ideal candidate will ensure system stability, resolve technical issues, perform bug fixes, and support critical workforce operations. This role requires strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Administration, APEX development, SOQL, and Salesforce security.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, update, and maintain Salesforce forms.
- Configure and maintain field-level security, validation rules, and related security settings.
- Develop, enhance, and maintain APEX code.
- Manage user profiles, permissions, and service accounts.
- Write and optimize SOQL queries, including complex cross-object queries.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and application defects.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Provide regular status updates and communicate effectively with project teams.
- Work independently while delivering quality work within project timelines.
Required Skills
- Strong Salesforce Administration experience
- Hands-on APEX development
- Strong SOQL skills, including query optimization and relationship queries
- Experience with:
- Salesforce Forms
- Field-Level Security (FLS)
- Validation Rules
- User Profiles and Service Accounts
- Production support, troubleshooting, and bug-fixing experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
