IDR is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join one of our top clients for an onsite opportunity in Lansing, MI – open to relocation! This role involves supporting a government project within the Salesforce platform, focusing on custom development and integration. The position offers the chance to work within a specialized, niche environment with a high level of technical responsibility.

Position Overview for the Salesforce Developer:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions utilizing Salesforce development best practices.
  • Develop and maintain Apex code including triggers, batch jobs, queueable jobs, and scheduled processes.
  • Build and enhance Lightning Web Components (LWC) to support modern user experiences.
  • Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Named Credentials, and related technologies.
  • Manage source control, deployments, and release processes using Salesforce DX (SFDX), VS Code, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements for the Salesforce Developer:

  • 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Platform Development experience (in the US)
  • Must have recent hands-on Salesforce Platform Development experience where the majority of development is within Salesforce (Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL/SOSL, Platform Events, etc.)
  • Prior experience supporting a State/Government project highly preferred
  • Strong expertise with:
    • Apex Development (Triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, Scheduled Apex)
    • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
    • SOQL/SOSL
    • Salesforce DX (SFDX)
    • REST and SOAP API integrations
    • Platform Events
    • Named Credentials
    • Salesforce Security Model (Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, OWD)
    • Salesforce Flows and Process Automation
    • Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits and platform architecture.
