Salesforce Developer

Introduction

The candidate should possess a broad knowledge across multiple development platforms and leverage their skills and experiences to assess problems and technical requirements. The goal is to design secure, high-performance solutions that maximize the capabilities and potential of the Salesforce platform. The role involves participating in the design, development, and implementation of systems engineering and analytical activities. As a fully seasoned and proficient technical resource, the candidate will provide technical knowledge and capabilities as both a team member and an individual contributor. Close collaboration with technology partners, business partners, and system owners is expected to define and design appropriate solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of development experience with Salesforce Lightning
• Understanding of integration efforts and tasks with platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, and third-party app-exchange solutions
• Experience with structured programming – APEX, Force.com, .Net, Java, and SOA
• Solid working knowledge of data warehouse, multiple database platforms, ETL
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodology and practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, be proactive, and deliver quality results with aggressive deadlines
• Self-starter, good aptitude, problem solver, and open to learning new technologies
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Salesforce certified software engineer with experience delivering solutions for Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, including multiple integration points
• Experience using RESTful web services
• Competency with MS SQL Server, MYSQL, and/or Oracle
• Experience with Cloud and MuleSoft is preferred
• Financial Services or other related industry experience
