This program will replace multiple decentralized and legacy quality management environments with a single, enterprise-wide platform that supports quality, compliance, training, audits, risk management, equipment management, supplier management, and corrective action processes across FDA Centers and Offices. The solution will support FDA organizations, including the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER), Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), Office of Pharmaceutical Quality (OPQ), Human Food Program (HFP), Office of the Chief Scientist (OCS), Office of Inspections and Investigations (OII), and other FDA quality organizations.
Job Description:
Configure, customize, and enhance ComplianceQuest and Salesforce GovCloud platform capabilities using declarative (low-code/no-code) tools and approved custom development approaches.
Design, develop, test, and deploy workflows, business processes, forms, dashboards, reports, user interfaces, and automation solutions supporting Quality Management System (QMS) operations.
Develop and maintain secure integrations between ComplianceQuest, Salesforce, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, and external systems using APIs, middleware, and integration frameworks.
Support data migration, data conversion, data validation, and reconciliation activities associated with the migration of legacy systems into ComplianceQuest.
Support implementation and optimization of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Generative AI capabilities using Python, Java, R, and other approved technologies.
Develop, test, and enhance AI/ML models to improve quality management, compliance monitoring, predictive analytics, business process automation, and decision support capabilities.
Participate in Agile software development activities, including requirements analysis, user story implementation, sprint planning, code reviews, testing, defect remediation, and release management.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, configuration records, design artifacts, validation documentation, and deployment procedures in compliance with FDA, GxP, and regulated-system requirements.
Support Computer System Validation (CSV), software verification and validation (V&V), user acceptance testing (UAT), system security verification, and change-control processes while maintaining validated system integrity.
Implement solutions in accordance with federal cybersecurity, FedRAMP, Salesforce GovCloud, data protection, identity management, and cloud governance requirements.
Configure and maintain role-based access controls, security settings, workflows, and platform controls to support compliance and operational requirements.
Troubleshoot application and integration issues, perform root-cause analysis, optimize system performance, and implement corrective actions to ensure reliability and scalability.
Collaborate with architects, business analysts, quality teams, cybersecurity personnel, data migration specialists, and customer stakeholders to deliver secure, compliant, and mission-focused solutions.
Contribute technical expertise to proposal development, solution architecture, technical volumes, demonstrations, oral presentations, capture activities, and customer briefings.
Support development of innovative solutions and reusable accelerators based on experience gained through the FDA Cloud QMS Program while contributing to organizational knowledge management and continuous improvement initiatives.
Participate in customer demonstrations, technical interchange meetings, workshops, and capability briefings.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by documenting lessons learned, best practices, reusable components, and organizational knowledge assets.
Support the development of innovative solutions and accelerators based on experience gained through the FDA Cloud QMS Program.
Collaborate with corporate leadership to expand ComplianceQuest, Salesforce GovCloud, Quality Management, AI/ML, and Digital Transformation service offerings.
Represent the organization professionally in interactions with customers, partners, regulators, and industry stakeholders.
Requirements:
Minimum five (5) years of experience configuring, developing, and supporting Salesforce Platform solutions, Salesforce Lightning Experience, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
Experience implementing Salesforce workflows, flows, approval processes, business rules, dashboards, reports, and automation solutions.
Experience developing and supporting Salesforce integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms, and enterprise integration frameworks.
Experience supporting all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, release management, and production support.
Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments and participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative delivery activities.
Experience developing, configuring, or administering ComplianceQuest or similar Quality Management System (QMS) platforms preferred.
Experience supporting data migration, data validation, data reconciliation, or system modernization initiatives preferred.
Experience working in FDA-regulated, GxP, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or other highly regulated environments preferred.
Experience supporting Computer System Validation (CSV), verification and validation (V&V), user acceptance testing (UAT), and change-control processes preferred.
Knowledge of Salesforce GovCloud, FedRAMP, federal cybersecurity requirements, and secure cloud environments preferred.
Experience with Python, Java, R, AI/ML technologies, or automation solutions preferred.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, Platform Developer,
ComplianceQuest, Agile, or cloud certifications preferred.
Prior FDA experience is highly desirable
