A client with Kforce is seeking a Salesforce Education Cloud Developer/Integration Engineer to join their team remotely. This will be 8-5pm EST working hours. Summary: We are looking for someone with strong integration experience to support a Salesforce Education Cloud environment that is undergoing a Workday Student implementation and go-live. This individual will play a key role in ensuring Salesforce Education Cloud serves as the system of record for student and applicant-related data while maintaining seamless integration with Workday Student and other enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have direct experience integrating Salesforce Education Cloud with Workday Student. Candidates without this specific background should possess deep expertise in Salesforce integrations, API development, data exchange, and enterprise application connectivity. Duties:
  • Design, develop, and support integrations between Salesforce Education Cloud and Workday Student
  • Ensure accurate and timely bidirectional data flow between systems
  • Assist with establishing Salesforce Education Cloud as the source of truth for student and applicant data
  • Develop and maintain APIs, integration services, and data transformation processes
  • Support file-based and API-driven integration patterns, including flat-file exchanges and direct API connections
  • Collaborate closely with the Workday Student team and internal stakeholders throughout implementation and transition activities
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on change controls, deployment processes, and DevOps-related activities
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, process flows, and support materials
  • Translate technical concepts into business-friendly language for non-technical stakeholders
  • Follow integration best practices, data governance standards, and development methodologies

Requirements:

  • Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning, APIs, and integrations
  • Experience designing and supporting enterprise system integrations
  • Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, middleware concepts, data mapping, and data exchange processes
  • Experience working with flat-file integrations and automated data transfers
  • Knowledge of Salesforce data modeling and application architecture
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Education Cloud
  • Experience integrating Salesforce Education Cloud and Workday Student
  • Higher education industry experience
  • Familiarity with change management, release management, and DevOps processes
  • Experience supporting large-scale ERP or Student Information System implementations

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
